There was only one story I didn't care for and that was night box otherwise than that it was a short gripping flash fiction collection. I enjoyed the direction, directness of them and the unpredictable ending. I like stories that are fresh, not the reheated themes with the predictable phrases, characters etc. Mr. Cusie has a new fan and his is a name to watch for. Thank you for the trip.Product details

I could only make it through half of this collection. It's a very juvenile book. Seems to me more like something I would have read in grade school. I would not recommend it to anyone who has a fully developed sense of what is age appropriate. I tried; I really did. I also don't like to leave bad reviews but if I can't enjoy it I feel like I should let others know. Mr. Cusie, keep trying; it's not horrible, just not enjoyable for adults.
This was a good very quick read comprised of horror flash fiction. The only story I didn't particularly enjoy was The Rest Stop and this was primarily because I don't enjoy vampire stories. I would look forward to reading more from this author in the future.
I really like these kind of short stories they kept my interest very well. I would recommend this book to Sify fans...
I really love horror shorts and this book is great. Just enough to give me the creeps before bed & wish the light switch was closer.
reminded of 'creepshow' type stories. scary and funny
at the same time. some guy named king kept writing and. ended up quitting his day job! good luck!.
I'm so glad I found this collection of shorts. Well written and fun to read, they reminded me of some of Stephen king's early works. The writer has the skillful knack of telling a tale without bogging us down with details that we so often find with newer writers. The language was fluid and the plots were just the right amount of twisted! Keep them coming!
I really enjoyed these stories by Mr Cusie. This is my first book and I was not disappointed. I enjoy creepy,scary, and horror that keeps you up at night. Very good and I do recommend this book.
